2026 Disneyland California “Making Dreams Come True
Eligibility
- Must be a disabled child or adult with special needs.
- A parent, guardian, or caregiver must accompany minors or individuals requiring assistance.
- Must be a California resident
Verification Requirements
To ensure the trip serves those who truly need it, applicants must provide ONE form of disability verification:
- Disability award letter (SSI / SSDI)
- IEP, Regional Center letter, or special education documentation (for minors)
- Doctor’s note confirming a disability or special needs condition
- State-issued disability placard documentation
- Any other official document verifying disability status
(No diagnosis details required — just confirmation of disability.)
Household Limits
- Maximum of 2 qualified participants per household
- Example: 1 disabled child + 1 caregiver
- If more than one disabled family member exists, the foundation can decide to accommodate case-by-case.
- Additional family members may not attend unless approved in advance.
Caregiver Requirement
- Every participant who requires assistance must bring one caregiver or support person.
- Caregivers will receive a complimentary ticket as part of the program
Registration Rules
- Registration is first come, first considered, but final selection is based on:
- Disability verification
- Completion of registration
- Agreement to participant guidelines
- Families must complete:
- Emergency contact forms
- Consent & liability waiver
- Photo/Media release (optional)
Attendance Requirements
- Must confirm attendance 30 days prior to the event.
- No-shows without notice may be disqualified from future foundation events.
Transportation
- families arrange their own transportation
Behavior & Safety
- Participants and caregivers must follow Disneyland safety rules and foundation staff instructions.
- Any behavior that threatens safety may result in removal from the event.
